Example Application

The following example application shows how to 
configure and program ASi devices. The example 
configuration is chosen to highlight the AS Interface 
and ASi devices.

Objectives

It is required to transfer a product P on a conveyor 
belt B. The position of the product on the conveyor 
belt is determined with four proximity switches (B1 - 
B4). The start and stop buttons on the operating 
panel are used to control the conveyor belt motor. 
The on/off lamp shows whether the conveyor belt 
motor is supplied with power.
