Checking status and
diagnostic messages in the
user program

PS 4-201-MM1” (AWB 27-1284 GB) in the chapter
“Error/Diagnostic Information” in the section
“Diagnostics status word, Bits 0...7".

The four bits DLK, DLS, DDK and DDS have a group
function for the following information:

Example

1. Bit DLK is set if the LE 4-505-BS1 is configured but

not connected

2. The incorrect status of an ASi device is indicated

by bit DDS.

If one of these bits are set, a detailed check of the LE
status byte for the module and the remote device
allows the fault to be localised more closely.

The following example code shows the syntax to use
to carry out the diagnosis.
