l) Function "12:BR_MIX", Brake Mixer
The use of independent brakes on the front and back axles allows the braking
distance to be shortened and to maintain better control of the vehicle while
braking.
As with a "real" car, for larger model vehicles it makes sense to place more
braking strength on the front axle than the rear axle. Any early locking of the
rear brake can be thus avoided, the vehicle does not lose control so easily at
the rear when braking.
If this function is used, the braking impulses are mixed from Channel 2 to
Channel 3 (AUX - mixing rate can be set between 0% and 120%).
The braking servo must now be attached to Channel 3 of the receiver.
Proceed as follows:
• From within the main menu (see fig. 5) press the "ENTER" button, then you
can use the "+" or "-" buttons to select the "12:BR_MIX" function (fig 73).
• Then press the "ENTER" button again to reach the settings menu (fig 74).
• The mixing rate can be adjusted with the "+" and "-" buttons.
• Press the "ENTER" button, then you can use the "+" or "-" buttons to turn the
function "ON" or "OFF".
• Exit the settings menu with the "EXIT" button, the settings are automatically
saved.
