16. Troubleshooting
Even though the remote control system was built with state-of-the-art technology, there can still be malfunctions or
faults. This is why we would like to show you how to remove some possible faults.
Problem
The transmitter does not react
The servos do not react.
The servos shake.
One servo is humming.
The system only has a low range
The transmitter turns off straight
away or after a short while.
Remedy
• Check the batteries or the rechargeable batteries in the transmitter.
• Check the battery or rechargeable battery polarity.
• Check the on/off function button.
• Check the batteries or rechargeable batteries in the receiver.
• Test the switching cable.
• Test the drive control unit BEC function
• Check the polarity of the servo connector.
• For test purposes, change the receiver.
• Check batteries or rechargeable batteries of the transmitter and the
model.
• Carefully dry away any possible dampness in the receiver with a hot
air blower.
• Check the batteries or rechargeable batteries in the receiver.
• Check that the linkage rods are running smoothly.
• Use the servo without the rudder horn for test purposes.
• Check batteries or rechargeable batteries of the transmitter and the
model.
• Install the receiver on another side of the model.
• Check batteries or rechargeable batteries of transmitter or replace
them.
