Housing

The housing of the MOBOTIX ExtIO is made of white fiber-reinforced

plastic (PBT-

GF30, Polybutyleneterephtalate with 30% fiberglass)

. This material is used heav-

ily in the automotive industry and is sturdy, resistant against high temperatures, en-
vironmental influences, chemicals, etc.

The MOBOTIX ExtIO's main components are the ExtIO housing (includes the main
board), the outer shell and the mounting ring.
