Remove the 4-pin connector that is stowed in the contoured
section of main refrigerator housing.
Detach the brazed section of piping. Remove the catch pro-
truding from the contoured section of main refrigerator hous-
ing to remove the evaporator. (See photo 23, figure 1, 2)
Installation:
Attach the evaporator to the catch protruding from the main
refrigerator housing. (See figure 1, 2)
Check both the entry side (black tube) and the exit side (gray
tube) of the evaporator. Braze the entry side to the pipe with
black marking, leading from the main refrigerator housing;
and the exit side to the other pipe.

Connect the connector leading from the evaporator to the con-
nector on the contouring section of main refrigerator housing.
Stow the lead wires in the contouring section and cover it with
seal tape.

The refrigerant flows in the muffler from top to bot-
tom. The pipe from the evaporator exit leads to the
top of the muffler. The pipe from the muffler (gray
tube) leads to the no-marking unit outlet pipe.
