Cleaning the printer

Clean the printer at regular intervals to prevent dust, dirt and paper
residue from accumulating in and on the printer.

Cleaning the case

Turn the printer OFF and unplug the
power cord.

Wipe the printer case off with a soft
cloth. You can moisten the cloth
with a neutral household cleaner.

Cleaning the paper feed roller

Clean the paper feed roller if paper feed problems occur frequently.

Turn the printer OFF and unplug the
power cord.

Pull tray 1 out of the printer until it
reaches the stop.

Press the paper raising plate down
in the tray until it locks into place.
