7.2 Installing the 250-sheet paper source unit
As many as three optional paper source units can be installed without the
large-area tray. With the large area tray, only one optional paper supply
unit can be installed.
Preparing for installation of the 250-bin mailbox unit
1 Take the parts of the unit out of the carton and remove the protective
plastic sleeve.
2 Remove the packaging materials and adhesive strips.
3 Remove the foam padding from the feed unit.
4 Turn the printer OFF and remove the power plug and the interface plug
from the printer.
Installing the 250-sheet paper source unit
When the preparations for the installation are complete, you can install the
250-sheet paper supply unit.

Remove the lower frame rail of the
printer.
2 Set the printer against the paper
supply unit so that the four corners
of both units are positioned next to
each other.
The blue handles on the paper
source unit point towards the front.
