Periodic Maintenance

Check Valve Cleaning

7. Install absorber canister assembly:

Apply Loctite 243 to (3) screws of the Absorber Mounting Plate.

Secure mounting plate to Breathing System Block using (3) screws and (3) associated
washers.

Apply Loctite 243 to the threads of (2) Absorber Guide Rods.

Install rods into block until rod height is 314 +/- 0.5 mm (old style breathing systems)
or 303+/-0.25 mm (new style breathing systems) (see FIGURE 6-9).
