Inserting the rechargeable
batteries/lithium powerpack
Before operating the system for the first time, the rechargeable
batteries and the lithium powerpack included in the package
must be installed.
The batteries enclosed in the package are not charged.
A
Battery pack:
7 nickel-cadmium batteries (type AA, 750 mAh)
B
Battery:
lithium battery (type CR 2032, 3V)

Fuse:
1 A, delayed-action, 20 mm
1.
Ensure that the Spectroquant® Multy Colorimeter is switched off.
2.
Remove, where applicable, the cell from the measurement
compartment.
3. Place the unit on its front on a clean, flat surface.
4.
Remove the two screws (

) on the battery-compartment cover
(

) on the bottom of the unit.
5. Remove the batteries cover (
F
).
6.
Remove any old batteries (
A
) and/or the lithium powerpack (
B
).
7.
Insert 7 new rechargeable batteries and/or the lithium
powerpack
.
Make sure that the batteries are inserted correctly!
8. Attach the battery-compartment cover.
9. Replace the screws and tighten with moderate pressure.
