Hydraulic Pump Drive Chain
Tension Check and Adjustment
WARNING
DO NOT lubricate, adjust and/or service this machine unless the POWER
SOURCE SHUT DOWN PROCEDURE (page 5) has been exercised.
The hydraulic pump drive chain is located between the hydraulic oil reservoir opposite the gearbox.
The hydrulic oil reservoir guard must be tipped up to gain access to the chain.
1. Measure the chain deflection at a point midway between the two sprockets. Measure the deflec-
tion in the lower part of the chain. The maximum deflection in the chain should be 1/8 inch. If
chain needs adjustment, adjust as follows:
a. Loosen the four bolts holding the hydraulic oil reservoir which is located behind shield to
the frame.
b. Slide the entire reservoir in the slots to adjust.
c. After tension is properly adjusted, be sure to check the alignment between the two sprock-
ets. Realign by moving the reservoir side to side in the frame slots as needed.
d. After adjustments and alignment is complete retighten the four bolts securely.
WARNING
DO NOT operate the bagger unless all guards are in place. Moving parts inside
could cause serious injury or death.
