Master Label Data Base Size

Default:

1

Options: 1

to

10

You can setup from 1 to 10 the master labels. It is important to note that changing the
number of master labels in the data base changes the maximum length for each master

label due to a fixed data base size for the aggregate. The aggregate Master Label Data
Base is 2045 characters in size. Thus if Master Label Data Base Size is set to 1, the max-
imum value for Match Start Position and Match Length is 2045. If it’s set to 2, the maxi-

mum data base size is 1022, and so on until at ten symbols, the maximum per label is
203.

Caution

: Since a change in the number of master labels imposes new size limits on

the data base size, a master label already in place could now exceed its size limita-
tion. If that occurs, all Master Labels will be deleted except Master Label #1.
You can also set up Master Labels in the Utilities menu.
