Step 10 Mount Scanner
The MS-850 scanner can be top or bottom mounted.
To permanently mount the scanner:
a) Position the scanner in a place devoid of direct sunlight, bright lights, or laser
light from other sources and at the correct range to read the labels.
b) Use the measurements shown below to locate centers of mounting holes and drill
as specified:
Caution:
Maximum penetration depth of screws is 0.29 inch (7.37 mm) for top
mount or 0.15 inch (3.81 mm) for bottom mount.
Caution:
To prevent twisting or distortion of the scanner housing, ensure that the
mounting surface is flat.
Bottom mount
Drill two 0.203 inch (5.16 mm)
diameter holes.
Top mount
Drill two 0.16 inch (4.06 mm)
diameter holes
