5.2.5 Traffic Isolation

The WCM1800 has three modes of operation and the traffic isolation menu selects the

mode:

5.2.5.1 Isolation Mode

There are three operating modes

None

VLAN/STAG ID processing disabled

VLAN

Switching is based on the VLAN TAG ID

QinQ

Switching is based on the S-TAG ID

5.2.5.2 QinQ Ethertype

Whilst the VLAN tag is defined as 8100, there are many implementations of QinQ

operation and as such the S-TAG is user defined.
