Analog Operation and Output Curves of SSM-6 Motors :
Applying (0) 4 mA or (0) 2 VDC to the SSM-6 servomotor will cause the motor to turn in the
closing direction until it reaches the predefined limit. Similarly, applying 20 mA or 10 VDC will
cause the motor to turn in the opening direction until it reaches the predefined limit.

The analog output setting on SSM-6 motors can be made in two ways:
a-) FULL
: The analog output of motors is set to FULL at the factory. In other words,
independently of the set values, the motor’s output range 0° to 90°.
Example:
If the Min. Angle of the SSM-6 is set to 20°, the analog output signal is 20° = X mA.
Figure 24
shows the standard feedback curve of an SSM-6 Motor with an output signal set at
FULL.
b - ) LIMITED
: Lower limit of the set value in the (limited) SSM-6 Motor.
Example:
If the SSM-6’s Min. Value is set to 30°, the analog output signal will be 4 mA.
Figure 25
shows that in an SSM-6 with a feedback output set to LIMITED operation, the feedback
output is 4 mA when the minimum limit angle of position 1 indicated in the figure is 0°, and the
output is 20 mA when the maximum angle is 90°. For position 2, the figure shows that the
feedback output will also be 4 mA when the minimum limit angle is 30°, and 20 mA when the
maximum limit angle is 70°.
If the SSM-6 Servomotor has an analog output module, the FULL and LIMITED
outputs of the motor can be adjusted from the menu shown in Figure 26.
