In the event of a fire in the engine compartment, keep the
hood closed and call the fire service.

WARNING Risk of scalding from hot coolant
If you open the cap, you could be scalded.
#
Let the motor cool down before opening the cap.
#
When opening the cap, wear protective gloves and safety
glasses.
#
Open the cap slowly to release pressure.
#
Wait until the engine has cooled down.
#
Ensure that the air supply to the radiator is not obstructed.
#
Avoiding high engine loads, drive on to the nearest qualified spe-
cialist workshop. In doing so, ensure that the coolant temperature
display remains below 248°F (120°C).

WARNING Risk of scalding from hot coolant
The engine cooling system is pressurized, particularly when the
engine is warm. If you open the cap, you could be scalded by hot
coolant spraying out.

Let the engine cool down before opening the cap.

ble
* Not all conditions have been met for regeneration of the diesel partic-
ulate filter ( / page 120).

Continue driving as normal until all conditions have been met for
regeneration of the diesel particulate filter.
The load condition of the diesel particulate filter is over 50% and the
message still appears on the instrument cluster.
#
Consult a qualified specialist workshop.
