*The yellow Check Engine warning lamp lights up while the engine is on.
A malfunction has occurred in the engine, the exhaust system or the
fuel system.
The emissions limit value may have been exceeded and the engine may
be running in emergency operation mode.

Have the vehicle checked as soon as possible at a quali ed special-
ist workshop.

*The yellow tire pressure monitoring system warning lamp (pressure
loss/malfunction) ashes for roughly one minute and then lights up per-
manently.
The tire pressure monitoring system is malfunctioning.

W WARNING ARNING There is a risk of an accident if the tire pressure
monitoring system is malfunctioning
If the tire pressure monitoring system is malfunctioning, it is not
able to issue a warning if there is pressure loss in one or more of
the tires.
Underin ated tires may, for example, impair the driving, steering
and braking characteristics.

Have the tire pressure monitoring system checked at a quali-
ed specialist workshop.

Visit a quali ed specialist workshop.

*The yellow tire pressure monitoring system warning lamp (pressure
loss/malfunction) lights up.
The tire pressure monitoring system has detected a loss of pressure in
at least one tire.

W WARNING ARNING Risk of an accident due to insu cient tire pressure
Tire pressures that are too low pose the following hazards:
R
The tires may burst, especially as the load and vehicle speed
increase.
R
The tires may wear excessively and/or unevenly, which may
greatly impair tire traction.
R
The driving characteristics, as well as steering and braking, may
be greatly impaired.
You could then lose control of the vehicle.

Observe the recommended tire pressure.
#
Adjust the tire pressure if necessary.
#
Stop the vehicle in accordance with the tra c conditions.
#
Check the tire pressure and the tires.
