E ngine Oil Level Check
The best tim e to check the engine oil
level is when the oil is warm, such as
during a fuel stop. W ith the vehicle on
level ground, sto p the engine and wait
a few m inutes fo r the oil to drain back
to the oil pan.
Wipe the d ip stick clean before check­
ing.
Add oil, if needed, only to
the upper mark (max). Do
not overfill the engine.
