Combination Switch
1 Low beam (with exterior lamp
sw itch turned to position 2)
2 High beam (with exterior lamp
sw itch turned to position 2)
3 High beam flasher (high beam
available independent of exterior
lamp sw itch position)
4 Turn signals, right
5 Turn signals, left
To operate the turn signals, move the
com bination sw itch past the point of
resistance (up or down). The sw itch is
autom atically cancelled when the
steering wheel is returned through a
large enough angle.
To signal m inor directional changes,
such as changing lanes on a highway,
move com bination sw itch only to the
point of resistance and hold it there.

• headlamp cleaning system
(will w o rk only with exterior
lamp sw itch in position 1 or 2).
When the washer system is acti­
vated, the w ipers also operate for
a limited time.
7 W indshield w iper speeds
0 W indshield w iper sw itched off
1 Interm ittent wiping
II Normal w iper speed
III Fast w iper speed
Note:
If one of the turn signals fails, the turn
signal indicator system flashes and
sounds at a faster rate than normally.
In addition, the lamp failure indicator
will com e on.
