This O w ner’s Manual contains a great deal of useful

inform ation. We urge you to read it carefully and fam iliar
ize yourself w ith the vehicle before driving.

For your own safety and longer service life of the vehicle,

we urge you to follow the instructions and warnings.

Ignoring them could result in damage to the vehicle or

personal injury.

Y our vehicle may have some or all of the equipm ent des
cribed. Therefore, you may find explanations of equip

ment not installed in your vehicle. If you have any ques

tio n s about the operation of any equipm ent, your

MERCEDES-BENZ dealer will be glad to dem onstrate the

pro p e r procedures.

your MERCEDES-BENZ, including:

Maintenance

The Maintenance B ooklet describes all the necessary

maintenance w o rk w hich should be perform end at regu
lar intervals.

Always have the Maintenance B ooklet with you when you
take the vehicle to a MERCEDES-BENZ dealer fo r ser

vice. The Service A dvisor will record each service.

Roadside Assistance

A lthough your M ercedes-B enz is built to be as trouble-
free as possible, a Roadside A ssistance Program is avail

able to provide em ergency roadside service after normal
dealer hours and on weekends and holidays in the con

tiguous United States.

Roadside Assistance is available Monday through Friday

from 5:00 PM to 12:00 M idnight and on Saturday, Sunday

and legal holidays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 M idnight. In the
event of a breakdown during these hours, telephone this

toll-free num ber: 1-800-222-0100.
