large a m o u n t o f pow er. To keep the
b a tte ry d ra in to a m in im u m , tu rn o ff
th e d e fro s te r as so o n as the w in d o w
is clear. The d e fro s te r is a u to m a tic ­
ally tu rn e d o ff a fte r a m a xim u m of
20 m in u te s o f o p e ra tio n . Heavy ac­
c u m u la tio n o f sn o w and ice sh o u ld
be b ru sh e d and cleaned o ff before
a c tiv a tin g th e d e fro ste r.
If several p o w e r co n su m e rs are
tu rn e d on s im u lta n e o u s ly , o r the
b a tte ry is o n ly p a rtia lly charged, it is
p o ssib le th a t th e d e fro s te r a u to m a t­
ic a lly tu rn s its e lf o ff. W hen th is hap­
pens, th e in d ic a to r lam p inside the
sw itc h sta rts b lin k in g . As soon as
th e b a tte ry has s u ffic ie n t voltage,
th e d e fro s te r a u to m a tic a lly tu rn s it­
se lf b a ck on.
