tu rn in g th e ig n itio n key to p o s i­
tio n 2.
The in fla tio n pressure o f th e air
cu sh io n may be c o n tin u o u s ly varied
betw een p o s itio n “ 0 ” = w ith o u t
pressure, and p o s itio n “ 4 ” = m ax­
im um pressure, by c h a n g in g the
p ressure re g u la to r (1) se ttin g .
In a d d itio n , th e c u s h io n h e ig h t may
be c h a n g e d to five d iffe re n t se ttin g s
betw een p o s itio n “ A ” = lo w e st set­
tin g , and “ E” = h ig h e s t se ttin g , by
v a ryin g th e h e ig h t re g u la to r (2) ad ­
ju s tm e n t.
If a d riv in g trip is te m p o ra rily in te r­
ru p te d , th e last c u s h io n s e ttin g is
re ta in e d in m em ory, and a u to m a t­
ic a lly a d ju sts th e c u s h io n to th is
s e ttin g w hen th e trip is c o n tin u e d .
