Lap b e lt in rear passenger c o m p a rt­
m ent:
Pull b e lt w ith la tch plate (1) across
th e lap, press latch plate in lo c k (2)
and a llo w to e ngage a u d ibly. The
b e lt m u st n o t be tw is te d b u t m ust
be tig h t.
To sh o rte n th e belt, p u ll b e lt end
w ith th e to n g u e engaged. To le n g ­
th e n th e belt, tu rn th e latch plate so
th a t it is at a little m ore th a n 90° to
th e b e lt and p u ll befo re fa ste n in g
th e belt.
To d ise n g a g e th e belt, push red b u t­
to n (3) in th e lock.
Note:
No seat b e lt can be used fo r m ore
th a n one person. C h ild re n u nder
th e age o f six o r u n d e r th e w e ig h t of
23 kg/50 lb s h o u ld be seated in the
b a ck seat w ith an ap p ro ve d re­
s tra in t system p ro p e rly secured.
A fte r an a c c id e n t, in s p e c t th e seat
b e lts and replace them , if required.
