Cruise Control
Any given speed above a p p ro x i
m ately 40 km /h/25 m ph can be
m a in ta in e d w ith th e c ru ise c o n tro l
by o p e ra tin g th e sw itch .

N o rm a lly th e ve h ic le is a cce le ra te d
to th e d esired speed w ith th e ac
ce le ra to r. Speed is set by b rie fly
p u s h in g th e s w itc h to p o s itio n 1
o r 2, and th e a c c e le ra to r can be re
leased.
The speed can be increased (e.g.
fo r passing) by usin g th e a cce
le ra to r. As soon as th e a c c e le ra to r
is released, th e p re v io u s ly set speed
w ill be resum ed a u to m a tic a lly .
If a set speed is to be increased o r
decreased s lig h tly , e.g. to ad a p t to
th e tra ffic flo w , re ta in sw itc h in p o s
itio n 1 o r 2 u n til th e d esired speed
is reached. W hen th e sw itc h is re
leased, th e new ly set speed re
m ains.
3 C a n c e llin g
To cancel th e c ru is e c o n tro l,
b rie fly push lever to p o s itio n 3.
The c ru ise c o n tro l w ill also be
c a n c e lle d if th e brake o r c lu tc h
pedal is a ctu a te d o r if th e v e h i
cle speed d ro p s b e lo w 40 km /h/
25 mph.

Resum e
If th e lever is b rie fly pushed to
p o s itio n 4 w hen d riv in g at a
speed e xce e d in g a p p ro x im a te ly
40 km /h/25 m ph, th a t speed is
resum ed w h ic h w as set p rio r to
th e c a n c e lla tio n o f th e cruise
c o n tro l. The last m em orized
speed is c a n ce lle d w hen the key
in th e s te e rin g lo c k is tu rn e d to
p o s itio n 1 o r 0.
Im p o rta n t:
O nly use th e c ru is e c o n tro l if the
tra ffic c o n d itio n s m ake it advisable
to travel at a steady speed.
P o s itio n “ R esum e” s h o u ld be en
gaged o n ly if th e d riv e r is fu lly
aw are o f th e p re v io u s ly set speed
and w ish e s to resum e th is p a rtic u la r
preset speed.
In th e case of m anual tra n sm issio n s
th e ve h ic le m a xim u m speed in the
in d iv id u a l gears s h o u ld n o t be ex
ceeded. See lin e m a rk in g s on the
sp e e d o m e te r. In th e case of a u to
m a tic tra n s m is s io n s th e s e le c to r
lever m u st n o t be s h ifte d to p o s itio n
“ N ” w h e n d riv in g w ith th e cruise
c o n tro l enga g e d as o th e rw is e the
e n g in e w ill overrev.
