To tune to a station
S ta tio n s can be tu n e d in by using
a u to m a tic search, d ire c t fre q u e n c y
d ia lin g , m anual tu n in g , o r by preset
push b u tto n s. The fre q u e n c y o f the
s ta tio n selected is disp la ye d d ig ita l­
ly on th e d is p la y panel.

By p re s s in g th e a u to m a tic sta tio n
seeker bar u pw ard the
ra d io w ill search fo r s ta tio n s in as­
ce n d in g fre q u e n c ie s , by pressing
d o w n in d e sce n d in g fre q u e n cie s.
T h e d ire c tio n o f a u to m a tic se a rc h ­
ing can be reversed by pressing th e
Tin th e re sp e ctive d i­
re c tio n . In o rd e r to arrive at a de ­
sired s ta tio n faster, th e ba r has to
be held do w n in th e d esired d ire c ­
tio n .
The ra d io is p ro g ra m m e d to a u to ­
m a tic a lly search th e e n tire band in
th re e s e n s itiv ity m odes. D u rin g its
firs t sw eep, o n ly th e m o st p o w e rfu l
s ta tio n s received w ill be selected
and lo c k e d in. D u rin g th e next
sw eep, th e less p o w e rfu l and d u rin g
th e th ird cycle, also th e w eak sta­
tio n s w ill be lo c k e d in.
If th e s ta tio n seeker bar is activated
w ith in 8 seconds, a fte r th e ra d io is
tu n e d to a s ta tio n , th e n th e search
o p e ra tio n w ill be c o n tin u e d at the
sam e s e n s itiv ity level. If 8 seconds
are exceeded, th e ra d io w ill revert
to s e a rc h in g o n ly th e m ost p o w e rfu l
sta tio n s.
