Gate control operating manual mts2000/02

Assembly and installation

5.2

Fitting gate control mts2000/02

Select an assembly location for the gate control which ensures that the
gate can be fully observed.

Start-up and service work:

For safety reasons, operators must be able to see

the gate at all times while pressing the emergency stop switch.

Prepare retaining bores for gate control housing (refer to Fig. 5-1 Housing
dimensions of gate control).

Screw on gate control cover and move cover to one side.

Release retaining bolts of control board.

Carefully and evenly withdraw board out of connection board.

Move board to one side.

Prevent static discharge on board!

Only touch the edges of the board. Note ESD Directive.

Drill holes depending on the quantity and size of lines in the housing.

Insert PG screw connections in housing.

Fit gate control housing to prepared point.

Pull connection cable through PG screw connections and into housing.

Attach cable to terminals according to Chapter 5.3,

Electrical connection

Carefully attach control board to plug connections of connection board and
use 3 screws to secure.

Close and screw down cover.
