Because the Surge test for this example is being run by the power pack, the analyzer will once again present screens
instructing you to connect the power pack, press the

Test (PTT)

button, and so on.

As with the power pack HiPot test, the Baker AWA-IV will automatically verify that the machine is set up properly
before enabling the power pack output leads.

20. Set the power pack’s

Function Selector

switch to

Surge

(Surge waveform icon).

Lead 1

Run Surge

Surge Test

window. If you attempt to start by using the power pack’s

Test (PTT)
