WARNING
• Before entering the ambulance, fully extend the arm of the loading system and
make sure that it automatically locks against return motion. Follow the instructions
in the VIVERA FASTENER user manual.
• When lifting the monoblock manually, grasp the longitudinal side beams
in the lower part of the undercarriage with your fingers placed on the outer surfaces.
Never insert your fingers into the sliding grooves; there is a risk of injury.
• Perform regular training of all steps of emergency handling. There is a risk
of incorrect monoblock handling.
• Always use all straps to secure the patient on the stretcher. An unsecured patient
may fall off the stretcher and get hurt.
• The strap buckles must be fastened even when using the stretcher without a patient
to avoid damaging the straps and injuring the operator.
• Lubrication may only be carried out by a trained person. Improper lubrication may
damage the function of mechanisms.
• Long-term use of disinfectants in excessive concentration without subsequent
neutralization may result in a change of surface colour or product damage. Do not
use products containing organic solvents, such as acetone, toluene or benzine, to
clean and disinfect the surface.
• During long-term storage, the battery must be recharged regularly every 2–3
months. After a longer time, the battery may be damaged.
• The product must not be transported by air. There is a risk of self-ignition
of the battery.
• Only the manufacturer or an authorized service partner can dispose of the product
at the end of its service life. Otherwise, there is a risk of serious injury or damage
to the environment.
• If a defect in the product is found, please stop using it immediately and contact
an authorized service partner or directly the manufacturer. Never attempt to repair
the product yourself. There is a risk of injury.
• Do not modify this device without the previous consent of the manufacturer.
• Do not use the trolley in areas with active high-frequency devices (such as RF
surgical instruments) and with high levels of EM interference (e.g., shielded rooms
for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) where the intensity of EM interference is
high).
• Avoid using the trolley next to or in a block with other devices, as a malfunction
may occur. If such use is necessary, observe whether both the trolley and the other
devices are working properly.
