position. When loading/unloading the patient, the side rails must always be in the
lowered position.
• When loading the monoblock into the ambulance, the front swivel wheels must be
locked.
• The wheel brakes secure the monoblock against an unintentional movement.
However, they do not provide sufficient protection against movement due to
external forces in real conditions. Never leave the patient unattended.
• Never move the stretcher onto the loading system with the telescopic handle
retracted. There is a risk of injury to the crew and damage to the product.
• Fully charge and balance the battery at least once every 2–4 weeks depending on
how often the monoblock is used. There is a risk of battery failure.
• Charge only as described in this manual. Use of other chargers may result in serious
injury and/or damage to the product.
• Never connect connectors to voltages higher than 15V. There is a risk of serious
injury to the patient and damage to the product.
• Never connect the charging connectors to a power supply other than that specified
in the chapter Charging in the Ambulance. There is a risk of serious injury to
the patient and damage to the product.
• Use only the original charging adapter. Using another adapter could seriously
damage the product.
• Do not connect the charging adapter when the monoblock with a patient is used.
There is a risk of injury to the operator and/or the patient.
• This device meets the requirements of protection class I when connected to an
external AC mains supply. To avoid the risk of electric shock, this device must be
connected to a mains supply with a protective earth connection.
• When the battery capacity drops to 40%, start charging as soon as possible. There
is a risk of switching off the electronic system.
• During the operation of the monoblock, continuously monitor the light indication
and react in time. There is a risk of switching off the electronic system.
• Emergency manual mode is not intended for normal handling. Use it only
in the event of an electronics failure and only for the necessary tasks.
• Hold the stretcher firmly on both sides throughout the lowering operation.
