Moving the Patient Onto the Stretcher
Place the stretcher next to the patient. Lower the side rails/boards and release the
straps. Load the patient according to approved medical procedures. Secure patient
on the stretcher with all straps. Adjust the side rails/boards, head section and leg
section to the appropriate positions.
WARNING
Always use all straps to secure the patient on the stretcher. An unsecured patient
may fall off the stretcher and get hurt.
Moving the Monoblock
Make sure that all patient restraint straps are securely fastened. Set the monoblock
to a height that is safe to move. When moving, the monoblock must always be secured
by one operator at the leg section and one at the head section or on the side.
When transporting, move over the door sills or other low obstacles vertically while
lifting the front and rear transport wheels separately over the obstacle.
WARNING
Overcoming high obstacles, such as kerbs, stairs or other terrain obstacles can cause
the stretcher to tip over and endanger the health of the patient or operator.
In these cases, it is necessary to provide additional assistance or choose another
route.
Loading Into the Ambulance
For loading and fixing the monoblock in the ambulance, only the VIVERA FASTENER
loading system can be used
Follow the instructions in the Operation Manual for safe handling.
WARNING
When entering/exiting the ambulance, perform the individual tasks carefully. Too
fast or forceful handling can damage the product.
Ambient Conditions and Operation Temperatures
The operating temperature range is from 0 ° C to + 65 ° C. The product can be used
for short periods of time even at very low temperatures down to -30 ° C. When using
at very low temperatures, watch the indication of the temperature carefully
(see page 36). The system is equipped with a thermal fuse that protects important
components of the product from damage due to low or high temperatures.
WARNING
Avoid prolonged exposure to low or high temperatures. There is a risk of damage to
the product.
General Principles for the Operation
