Summary of Safety Warnings
WARNING
• Never tilt the monoblock more than 30° from the horizontal plane (applies to all
directions). There is a risk of damage to the product.
• Never use the main switch during monoblock operation. There is a risk of serious
damage to the product.
• After starting the system of the main switch to charge the battery completely 100%
every time. Otherwise, the system operates improperly.
• Always use all straps to secure the patient on the stretcher. An unsecured patient
may fall off the stretcher and get hurt.
• Overcoming high obstacles, such as kerbs, stairs or other terrain obstacles can
cause the stretcher to tip over and endanger the health of the patient or operator.
In these cases, it is necessary to provide additional assistance or choose another
route.
• When entering/exiting the ambulance, perform the individual tasks carefully. Too
fast or forceful handling can damage the product.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to low or high temperatures. There is a risk of damage
to the product.
• Securing against backward movement after the monoblock has been pulled out
from the ambulance partially prevents unwanted backward movement towards
the ambulance. However, this is not sufficient protection against movement due to
external forces in real conditions. Never leave the patient unattended.
• Before pressing the “+” button, always make sure that the monoblock is fully pulled
out from the ambulance and secured against backward movement.
• Before entering the ambulance, fully extend the arm of the loading system and
make sure that it automatically locks against return motion. Follow the instructions
in the VIVERA FASTENER user manual.
• Never activate height positioning at an angle of more than 30° from the horizontal
level. There is a risk of damage to the product.
• Observe the maximum prescribed duty cycle specified in the chapter Technical
Specifications (p. 10). There is a risk of the system overheating.
• Never sit on the head section or headrest, especially when they are slightly raised.
They may be damaged.
• Never sit on the leg section or calf section, especially when they are slightly raised.
They may be damaged.
• Do not sit on the opened side boards. They may become damaged.
