FOR CHARGING IN AMBULANCE

Battery Charging

The monoblock has a pair of connectors for charging with direct current  
from the ambulance and one connector for charging from the external charging 
adapter. Charging can only be performed as described below.
Charging is indicated by a regular flashing of the battery capacity status indicators 
on the indicator panel. The capacity is displayed according to the diagram 
in the chapter Indicating the Battery Capacity Status (p.36). When charging and 
balancing are completed, the indicators on the panel are turned off automatically.
Balancing is an important process during which the voltages on the individual battery 
cells is equalized. This process takes place after the battery is fully charged and can 
take several tens of minutes. 
The recommended ambient temperature for charging the battery is from 0°C to +25 °C. 
Charge in a stable temperature environment.

WARNING

Fully charge and balance the battery at least once every 2–4 weeks depending on 
how often the monoblock is used. There is a risk of battery failure.
