Mediatrix 3300 – Analog Gateway

H A P T E R

Installation

This chapter describes the installation of the Mediatrix 3300.

Planning the Installation

Before installing the Mediatrix 3300, you should complete the following tasks:



Create a network diagram (see section

“Network Diagram” on page 8



Gather IP-related information (see section

“IP-Related Information” on page 8

for more

information).



Install the hardware and software needed to configure the Mediatrix 3300 (see section

“Network Information” on page 8

Installation Checklist

The installation checklist lists the tasks for installing the Mediatrix 3300. Print a copy of this checklist and mark
the entries as you complete each task. Include the completed checklist in your site log.
