Plug the charger into the earthed socket.
Turn on the charger (red light means that you should immediately charge the
batteries, yellow light indicates that the battery is semi- charged, green light
–
the
battery is fully charged). The optimum charging time is 8-14 h.
New batteries must be charged for longer than 12h. Prior to recharging the battery
must be fully discharged.
When charging is completed, turn off the charger and unplug it from the electric
socket. Then take the plug out of the charging socket. Finally, put the cover onto
the charging socket.
WARNING!
If you do not intend to use the wheelchair for longer time, remove both batteries
and store them in dry and cool place.
Avoid completely discharging the battery.
If you use a wheelchair every day recharge your batteries daily for 8-14h.
If you use a wheelchair once a week, recharge your batteries once a week for 12-
14h.
Do not charge the batteries for more than 24 hours.
You cannot additionally recharge the battery (i.e., connect them for a period
shorter than a full charge cycle), as this may lead to the destruction of the
battery or reduce its life.
Store batteries fully charged.
If you do not regularly use a wheelchair in order to maintain battery life, charge the
batteries at least once every two weeks in a full charge cycle.

Replacing the batteries
If you wish to remove the batteries:
Turn off the power and remove the key from the ignition.
Remove the seat.
Gently lift up the front cover so that you can disconnect the wires from the
headlight.
Remove the tape securing the battery.
Carefully disconnect the power cables from the battery.
Remove the battery.
To install the battery:
Insert the battery in its proper seat.
Connect the red wire to the jack marked with a “+”.
Connect the black wire to the jack marked with a “ –
”.
Fasten the tape securing the battery.
Connect the headlight wires.
Replace the front cover and seat.
WARNING!
Never replace the battery yourself (to a different battery than that supplied by the
factory with your wheelchair).
If the battery is damaged or needs replacing report this to your distributor. Do not
throw it away; leave the faulty battery with your distributor.
In order to prevent
short circuit and battery damage, never touch any of the
contacts with metallic objects.
Sostituzione delle batterie
Se desideri rimuovere le batterie:
• Spegnere e rimuovere la chiave dall’accensione.
• Rimuovere il sedile.
• Sollevare delicatamente il coperchio anteriore in modo da poter scollegare i fili dal
faro.
• Rimuovere il nastro che fissa la batteria.
• Scollegare con attenzione i cavi di alimentazione dalla batteria.
• Rimuovere la batteria.
Per installare la batteria:
• Inserire la batteria nella sua sede corretta.
• Collegare il cavo rosso alla presa contrassegnata con “+”.
• Collegare il cavo nero alla presa contrassegnata con “-”.
• Fissare il nastro che fissa la batteria.
• Collegare i cavi del faro.
• Sostituire il coperchio anteriore e il sedile.
AVVERTIMENTO!
• Non sostituire mai la batteria (con una batteria diversa da quella fornita dalla fabbri-
ca con la sedia a rotelle).
• Se la batteria è danneggiata o deve essere sostituita, segnalarla al proprio distributore.
• Non buttarlo via; lasciare la batteria guasta con il proprio distributore.
• Per evitare cortocircuiti e danni alla batteria, non toccare mai nessuno dei contatti
con oggetti metallici.
