A
access control List of all devices that can access other devices across the network
and the permissions associated with that access. See also persistent
binding and zoning.
active FRU A field-replaceable unit that is currently operating as the active and
not the backup FRU.
active zone set
Single zone set that is active in a multiswitch fabric. It is created when
you enable a specified zone set. This zone set is compiled by checking
for undefined zones or aliases.
agent Software that processes queries on behalf of an application and
returns replies.
alarm SNMP message notifying an operator of a network or device
problem.
