d) Route temperature harness under radiator
overflow tank drain tube and secure to wire
bundle with one large tie wrap.
e) Route harness under overflow tank mounting
bracket towards firewall and secure to A/C pipe
with one large tie wrap.

6) Route temperature harness through firewall.
a) Pierce firewall grommet from inside engine
compartment, as shown.
(Fig. 3-10)
7) Using the following procedure, pull temperature
sensor harness through rubber grommet and into
vehicle foot-well area:
a) Bend approximately three (3) inches of harness
at terminal end.
b) To protect terminals, insert protective sleeve over
harness, covering terminals.

c) Using electrical tape, secure fish-wire to harness
and harness sleeve as shown.
