Turn on the carrier gas, compressed gas and 
instrument power. 

Restart the software. 

In the leak test dialog box select SV4 and HV

Leak test around the brass connector with a helium 
leak detector. 

If a leak is detected, gently tighten the brass 
connector 1/8 turn with a 7/16” spanner and check 
for leaks again.  Repeat until no leak is detected.

DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN OR YOU RISK 
BREAKING THE COLD TRAP AGAIN.
