10 - FORWARD/NEUTRAL/REVERSE GEAR SELECTION
When changing the direction of travel, the lift truck should be travelling at slow speed (less than 1 km/h) and not accelerating.
In the neutral position, a mechanical lock prevents an accidental shifting movement.

FORWARD GEAR
• A - Low speed:
Pull slightly and push the lever upwards.
• B - High speed: Pull slightly and push the lever upwards again.
NEUTRAL
• C - To start the lift truck, the lever must be in neutral.
REVERSE
• D - Low speed:
Pull slightly and push the lever downwards.
• B - High speed: Pull slightly and push the lever downwards again.
NOTE: Reverse lights and a reversing sound alarm indicate that the lift truck is travelling in reverse.

The selected mode is displayed on the dashboard screen and linked to the gear selection.
NEUTRAL
• A - To start the lift truck, the lever must be in neutral.
FORWARD GEAR
• B - Pull lightly and push the lever upwards.
REVERSE
• C - Pull lightly and push the lever downwards.
NOTE: Reverse lights and a reversing sound alarm indicate that the lift truck is travelling in reverse.
SAFETY FOR MOVING THE LIFT TRUCK
Authorisation to move the lift truck is controlled by an electronic unit. The operator must observe the following sequence of
operations to move the truck forwards or backwards:
• 1 - sit down correctly in the driver’s seat,
• 2 - release the parking brake,
• 3 - engage forward or reverse movement.
To stop the forklift truck, the following sequence must be observed:
• 1 - set the forward/reverse selector to neutral,
• 2 - engage the parking brake,
• 3 - get out of the lift truck.
NOTE: If the operator leaves the driving cab with forward or reverse engaged the lift truck will stop after a short time.
The operator must then sit back in the seat, place the forward/reverse selector back in neutral and select forward
or reverse in order to continue advancing or reversing.
The lift truck can continue its movement if the operator sits back down before the lift truck stops.
