Possible Reasons
Judging Methods and Solutions
The configured control VLAN
of the node is inconsistent.
Execute the show eips ring command to display the receiving
and sending of the FDB packets. For the transmission node, if
COMM-FLUSH-FDB packet and COMP-FLSUH-FDB packet
statistics is 0 and for the main node, if Link Down packet and
Link Up packet statistics is 0, maybe because the configured
control VLAN is inconsistent. Check the node configuration.
The EIPS domain
configuration of the node is
inconsistent.
Use the debug eips ring command to verify whether it is
caused by the inconsistent configuration. You can check the
configuration.
Fault 4: The status of the sub ring is Fault.
Possible Reasons
Judging Methods and Solutions
For the main ring, not all
ports of the interfaces are
configured with control
VLAN of the sub ring.
Check whether the ports of the main ring node are added to
the control VLAN of the sub ring. For the main ring, the control
VLAN information of the sub ring is equivalent to the packets.
When the public ports of the edge node are disconnected, the
Hello packets of the sub ring retrace via the main node of the
main ring and the status of the sub ring is still complete.
