FRONT/REAR SUSPENSION BOLT TORQUE - CHECK
Type/Description:
Front - Double Wish-Bone Type IFS.
Rear – Leaf Springs.
Always use 4-post lift or park vehicle on pit while checking suspension torque.
Use calibrated torque wrenches & Do not over torque than recommended values.
Inspect Front suspension first at 5000kms, 10000kms, 20000kms and then every
20000kms.
Inspect Rear suspension bolt torque check at every service interval.

FRONT & REAR SUSPENSION BOLT TORQUE – CHECK
Refer suspension bolt torque chart.
1.
Check front suspension bolt torque at -
Camber bolt production level marking cross verification.
If marking found distrub then follow step [a] otherwise follow step [b],

Re-adjust the position and apply the
200 N-m
torque.
(b)
Apply
200 N-m
torque to camber bolt with-out disturbing camber bolt position
If front suspension camber bolts found loose then the wheel alignment has to be done.

2.
Apply
120 N-m
torque to shock absorber to lower arm joint.
