LSPV SETTING
LSPV setting should be carried out with the vehicle on the ground or on a 4-post
lift. The vehicle should not be lifted using a 2-post lift while doing this operation.
The Special tool/ gauge used for LSPV setting is
0602BAA0001ST.
LSPV setting adjustment to be carried on first at 5000kms, 40000kms and then
every 40000 kms.
LSPV SETTING PROCEDURE –
Refer illustration shown.
1.
Before start of LSPV setting, ensure the vehicle is Unladen (Kerb weight)
2.
Remove the circlip from the spring end. Pull the spring sideways and release.
3.
Loosen the M8 Hex Nut (Use 12 Ring Spanner). During removal hold the other end with
14 Spanner. Loosen in such a way that pin can be slide inside the slot of Axle bracket.
4.
Put the one end of the Special Tool
inside the spring grommet. Put the other end of
the Special Tool
on to the Axle pin. Tighten the M8 Nut. Remove the
MST
. Stretch the
spring downwards and push into the pin.
5.
LSPV setting length –
112.5 mm
