Membrane Transmitter Servicing.
The Membrane Transmitter M/C board is shown in Figure 9-3. Refer to the following paragraphs for
Servicing Procedures

9-3.1.
To Check Data.
1.) For data input use “DATA” connection to RF Head.
2.) Use “RF SW” for External Trigger input.
3.) Use TP2 for Ground.
9-3.2.
Battery Monitor Adjustment.
Connect power supply to battery leads observing polarity and set supply voltage to 5.8 volts. Adjust Battery
Monitor Potentiometer R21 to just turn off red LED on the front of the transmitter.
9-3.3.
Red LED Not Flashing.
If the red LED indicator on the transmitter does not flash when the transmitter is turned ON or while
operating a crane with the transmitter, replace the batteries; they are weak. Weak batteries may operate the
crane for a while, but the LED will not flash. If the battery is too low the battery monitor will shut the
transmitter OFF. See Section 5-6. Battery Replacement for proper procedure.
