LIGHTING:

shows the current lights status of the bike (OFF / ON / AUTO).

SYSTEM INFORMATION:

shows current system status information:

Battery reserve is reached and the system is switched off

An error has accured

CHARGE STATUS INDICATOR: The charge status

of the battery is displayed under

D3 .

SPEED:

D4 always describes the current speed

TRIP INFORMATION:

D5 shows information

about the current trip, which can be adjusted via

the settings.

ASSIST MODE: The current assist mode is shown under

with the help of a color

bar in the display:

OFF

(Grey) No motor assistance. Resistance-free cycling.

ECO

(Green) Noticeable assistance for maximum efficiency and range.

TOUR

(Blue) Very noticeable assistance, ideal for lengthy tours.

SPORT

(Yellow) Powerful assistance for sporty riding.

BOOST

(Red) Full assistance for sporty riding, on mountainous routes and in

city traffic with normal battery range.

POSSIBLE ERROR MESSAGES:

Speed sensor error:

Check speed sensor and position of spoke magnet

Bike lighting error:

Switch off the system completely before checking

all cables and plugs of the lighting system for dam-

age or loose contacts. Restart the system.

Internal system error detected: Restart the system. If the problem persists, contact

your authorized M1 dealer.

Brake light error:

Switch off the system completely before checking

all lines and plugs of the brake system. Restart the

system.
