SERVICE DOCUMENTATION, MAINTENANCE & ERRORS

Error: 

Noises 

Symptom 

Rattling or creak noises 

Bike 

Erzberg PED & S-PED, Brose-Motor, Brose Allround Display

 

Step 1: 

Tighten bolts:  

4x mudguard (GT)  

2x license plate (S-Ped)  

3x mounting license plate (S-Ped)  

4x attachment to the seat stay (GT)  

2x Kick stand (GT & S-Ped)  

Check the chain guide (too low with compression)  

Check battery tension  

Tighten battery retaining bolts (2 times)

 

 

Step 2: 

Check rear end: 

DHX2: clean spring, increase tension 

Retighten the bearing seats of the rear end 

Step 3: 

Clean the mudguard at seat post and bolt it on again  

Check and tighten bolts on the saddle  

Check the pedals  

Grease the headset  

Dealer 

 

Step 4: 

Tighten 3x the motor screw  

Tighten 4x motor cover 

Control spider nut 

Tighten the chainring bolt 

Step 5: 

Check frame for cracks
