SERVICE DOCUMENTATION, MAINTENANCE & ERRORS

Error:

Motor power incorrect

Symptom Loss of Power or no motor assistance
Bike

Erzberg PED & S-PED, Brose-Motor, Brose Allround Display

Step 1:

Restart

-Turn bike off ( ON/OFF-Button > 2 sec.)

-Turn bike on ( ON/OFF-Button < 1 sec.)

Step 2:

Remove battery

check LEDs by pressing ON/OFF-Button on the battery

no LED? --> charge battery

LEDs flashing? --> restart battery

OFF: press ON/OFF-Button until LEDs go out on after another

ON: press ON/OFF-Button until LEDs start flashing on again

Step 3:

No noticeable support?

--> Supporting levels at least at 10% in settings

uneven support at 25 km/h?

--> Downshift from support Level 4

Engine keeps pushing a few seconds without pedaling

--> Support Level 4 Flex Power Mode

Correct Speed-Sensor position?

--> Distance: 17mm

--> magnet at the height of line on sensor?

A change of cassette/chainring can reduce engine power

A change of tire circumference reduces engine power

Engine power depends on turn & torque
