4.2.4 Operation Mode Setting

Function summary : sets the operation mode of Reader
z
Sending factor : sends the setting value of operation mode
z
Receiving factor : responds to the normal Receiving Frame by the changed
operation mode.
This is the Frame used to set the operation mode between Reader and Host.
It is required to set the proper Reader operation mode according to each environment. The
provided operation modes includes Scan Mode, Host Control (Slave Read) Mode, Buffer Read
Mode.
The below show the Sending Frame structure to set the operation mode and the Receiving
Frame Structure that displays the response to that sending.

It is available to change the program operation mode setting according to the operation
environment of RFID Reader as shown on [Table 4.2.4.1]. As described in the previous, the
operation mode includes Scan Mode that sends the data from the Host as soon as Reader
recognizes the original no. of Tag approaching within Antenna field, Buffer Mode that sends the
value at the same time if required from Host, after saving the value in the Buffer of RF Reader,
