4.2.2 Main Protocol Terminology
Here describes the terminology and abbreviated terms used for Sending/Receiving protocol,
the calculation of Check Sum and the numeric marking.
Definition of terminology and the abbreviated terms

SID
: Station ID given to Reader (the value of rotary switch next to Reader)

DL
: Total length of Frame (from Start Byte to CS)

CMD
: Command by each Control Mode
z
UID
: Original Tag ID (Unified identifier : 8 byte )
z
AFI
: Original ID of Tag reading by user (Application Field Identifier)
z
DSFID (DS) : Tag Data Storage Format (Data storage format identifier )
z
Baddr (BA) : Block data address
z
Bnum (BN) : Block Data number
z
Bdata (BD) : Block data
z
Control Mode : Communication mode classification
Check Sum Calculation
Check Sum value is defined as the value taking the low 8 bit from the addition result after
adding the rest except CS bit.
(Reference: Data error confirmation between Tag and Reader can be done by CRC16 calculation.)
Ex) F0 00 08 03 27 01 00 23 (Inventory command)
F0+ 00+08+03+27+01+00 =23 (HEX) [Low 8bit is taken only as Check Sum value.]

DEC value marking : (1), (2), (10), (255) : marked by adding
