Troubleshooting
Type of Malfunction
UV lamp does
not start.
UV shutter does
not open.
Product does
not cure.
Possible Causes
– No power voltage.
– Power switch is not pushed.
– Power fuses are defective.
– Power cord is defective.
– UV lamp’s lifetime has expired.
– The UV lamp was overheated
and switched off.
– Light Guide is not inserted
correctly.
– Shutter unit is defective.
– Wrong Light Guide is used (UVA
Light Guide on UVC lamp).
– The lens of the Light Guide is
contaminated.
Corrections
• Check power voltage.
• Push power-on button.
• Check fuses.
• Replace power cord.
• Replace UV lamp module.
• Wait approximately 3 minutes
until UV lamp starts automatically.
• Insert Light Guide correctly, see
Section 4.4.
• Return to Loctite Service
• Use correct Light Guide, see
Section 1.5.
• Clean lens, see Section 7.
