Any lamp contamination which has not been removed will bake to the envelope and result in
premature deterioration of performance.
• Remove the knurled screw on the side
of the lamp module.
• Unplug the lamp module connectors and
swivel the module backwards and then
move upwards.
• Remove the transport safety cushions
from the new lamp module. Insert the
lamp module, setting the alignment cut
outs into the support pins. Gently push
forward until the module is locked in the
vertical position. Install the knurled
screw on the side of the lamp module.
• Connect the red wire (A) at the bottom
and the black wire (B) at the top of the
lamp-module.
Never leave the red wire disconnected
as the power supply will be destroyed
when the ignition button is pressed. If
you are repackaging for shipment with
foam cushions, only leave the top black
wire disconnected.
