24. Interruption of spraying process
•
If the spraying process will be interrupted e.g. due to weather
conditions, all parts which were in contact with spraying agent
like pump, spraying pipes, fittings and filters should be cleaned
on the spraying ground.
Normally a length of the run of 20 m is enough.
This cleaning avoids blockage of filters and nozzles.

To prevent the contents of the spray liquid tank from being dilut-
ed during the cleaning process, set the directional control valves
as follows:
3-way valve:
•
Set 3-way valve to the middle
position “Clean suction filter”
(Fig. 29). This will shut-off the
agent spraying circuit.

Set 2-way valve to position
“Machine cleaning” (Fig. 30).
The pump will bring fresh water
from freshwater tank to the
spraying nozzles.
